Lorraine Field has a BFA and an MA in Art Ed from NSCAD where she currently teaches photography. She has been a grant recipient of the Canada Council, the Nova Scotia Art Council, the Banff Centre, and the Barbara Spohr Award for Contemporary Photography. Her work has been shown nationally and internationally and is in the following collections: the Art Bank of Nova Scotia, the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Halifax Harbour Commission, Saint Mary鈥檚 University Gallery and Government House, Halifax.

Elle a obtenu des subventions du Conseil Canadien, du Conseil Artistique de Nova Scotia, du Centre Banff et le prix Barbara Spohr de Photographie Contemporaine. Ses ouvres qui ont 茅t茅 expos茅es dans des galeries nationales et internationales font partie des collections suivantes : La Banque d’Art de Nova Scotia, Le D茅partement des Affaires Etrang猫res et du Commerce International du Canada, La Commission Portuaire , Palais du Gouverneur de Halifax et la galerie de l’Universit茅 Saint Mary.
