Lorraine Field has a BFA and an MA in Art Ed from NSCAD where she currently teaches photography. She has been a grant recipient of the Canada Council, the Nova Scotia Art Council, the Banff Centre, and the Barbara Spohr Award for Contemporary Photography. Her work has been shown nationally and internationally and is in the following collections: the Art Bank of Nova Scotia, the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Halifax Harbour Commission, Saint Mary’s University Gallery and Government House, Halifax.

Lorraine Field possède un diplôme de BFA et une maîtrise dans le domaine des arts de NSCAD. Elle a obtenu des subventions du Conseil Canadien, du Conseil Artistique de Nova Scotia, du Centre Banff et le prix Barbara Spohr de Photographie Contemporaine. Ses ouvres qui ont été exposées dans des galeries nationales et internationales font partie des collections suivantes : La Banque d’Art de Nova Scotia, Le Département des Affaires Etrangères et du Commerce International du Canada, La Commission Portuaire , Palais du Gouverneur de Halifax et la galerie de l’Université Saint Mary.
